Bayrampasa Mall & Residence | The proposal aims to create an alternative for the introverted shopping experience in the volatile climate of Istanbul. Using the natural slope of the site, the building is composed of landscaped terraces where one can find pavilion shops that can be accessed both from the interior and the exterior. Thus on every level the shopping extends to the terraces and offers a programmed green space much needed in Bayrampasa.
Each terrace is programmed specifically to accommodate food court, childrens activities and sports. Rising above this active roof scape, two faceted residential towers offer each a unique view over the Golden Horn to the Historic Peninsula.
